The Second Schedule to the principal Act ,hall be amended a'
follows
(a) in item 11 thereof. for pamgraph (q) there shall be
substituted the following
~(q) (i)
Passe ngers' baggage, including wearing
apparel and personal effects, used , which the Comptroller of
Customs is satisfied are intended for the pas.senge rs' personal
use, but excluding fireann s and weapon s of all kinds;
(ii) Such tobacco products, wines, spirits, toilet
waters and pe rfumes as may be allowed in acoordaoce with lhe
Convcn tio<1 cooceming Customs Facilities for Tooring made
at New York on the 41h June , ICB4;
(iii) Such goods bought for the passenger's own use
Or as OOTUI fide gifts, other than the goods mentioned in
subparagraphs (i) and <ii) hereof up to a value of Lm50,
sohowever th at whe re Ihe total value of such goods e:lOI'eds
Lm50, this provision ~hall not apply and the duty chargeable
on ~uch goods shall be deducted by Lm I 3~ ; and
(b) item III thereof rel~ t ing 10 equipmen t for use in hotels
and ealering establishments shall be deleted.
