BE IT ENACfED by the Preside nt . by a nd wi th the advice and
consent o f the House of Represe ntatives. in th is present Padiamem
assembled. and by the authori ty of the ~ me . as follows:-
I. Th is Act may be cited as the Second (1 990) Appropriatio n Act .
1990.
A sum not exceeding si~lee n million, two hundred and
sevemcen thou~nd. four hundred and ni nety nine Maltese Liri to mee t
expendi ture in respect of financial ye ur 1990 under the Votes specified
in the First Schedule to Ihis Act shall be and the same is hereby charged
upon Ihe Conso lidated Fund.
J . A further sum not e~ceeding one hundred and seventy six
thousa nd an d sillly nine Maltese Liri. to mee l expenditure in res~C\ of
the fi nancial year 1990 unde r the Vote5spccified in the Second Schedule
to this A ~I shalt be and the same is hereby charged upon the
Consolidated Fund. provided Ihat such sum shaH be transferred to the
Cont ingencies Fu nd in replacemen t of withdrawals made o ut of this
Fund to rove r the va rious servicesdctailed in rcgard to such Vot es in the
Suppleme ntary Estimates of Expenditure fo r the financia l ycar 1990.
