I . Th is Act may be cited as the interprctation (Amendmenl) ACI.

1990, and shall be read and construed as onc with the intcrprC lalion

ACI. 1':175 hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act" .

For paragraph (c) of section 6 of the principal Act. the re shall

be suilsliluted Ihe following

exercisable as pan of Ihe funclionsof a depanment of Government

The provisions of thi s Act shall nOI render invalid the exercise

of any power before the coming in lo fo rce of this Act. where such

exercise was va lid in accordance with the law.
