AN A CT to /mItnd lilt Prt~tnlion of Distuse Ordil1onCl', Cap. 36.

BE IT ENACTED by the President , by and Wilh the advice and

consen t of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled. a nd by the authority of th e sa me, as follows:-

I . This Act may be cited as the Prevention of Disease

(Amendme nt) Act, 1990, and shall be read and construed 1I5 one with

the Prevention of Disease Ordinance . he rei nafte r referred to as ~ the

principal law~ ,

Sed;on 2 of the pri ncipal law shall be a me nded as follows

(a ) in the definit ion of Manimals for the words "of four-

fl

fOOled beast;" Ihtre shall be sub!;tilU!ed the words "of four-foot ed

beast. and fish;fl; and

(b)

immedia tely after the definition of "factory" , tllere sha ll

be in serted the following new definition

.. "fish" includes fin fish, molluscs and crustaceans,

wh ether fresh or sea-wa ter;ft.
