BE IT ENACfED by the President, by and with the &dYke and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same. as follows:-

I . ( I) Th is Act may be ci ted as the Goldsmiths and Silversmiths

(Amendment) Act, 1990, and shall be read and construed as o ne with

the Goldsmi ths and Silversmiths Ordinance , hereinafter refe rred to as

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have rome into force on the

19thlanuary.I990.

Art. 2 .- — ACT No. XVlII 01 19'90 AN ACT [wrtM, 10 fUtU!M th~ Goldsmiths ~"d Sil~T1mitlu O,dina,,«, C~p. 46. Open official source

Section 8 of the principal Jaw shall be a mended as follows

(a) the present provision shall be renumbered as su~ction prillCipollaw.

( 1) thereof; and

(b) immediately after subsection (I) thereof as renumbered

there shall be added the following new SUbsection

The provisions of this Sct:tion shall not apply
