AN ACT furthu /0 <lmend /h~ /..and Regis/m/ion Act. 1981.

BE IT ENACfED by the President. by and wit h the advice and

consent of the House of Representati v~, in this present Parliament

assembled. and by the authori ty of the same, as follows:-

I. This Act may be cited as th e Land Registra tion (Ame ndment) Sboo1 "'k.

Act. 1989. and shall be read and construed as one with tne Land

Regist ration Act, 1981, hereinafter refe rred to as "the principal Act" , "'." xxxv

2, Sec,ion 2 of the principal Act sha ll be amended by the additio n, "'-nd .... nt

in the definition of "registration area", a, the end thereof. of the words

Mand includes any area declared or deemed to be a registration area by, "'~

or under , or by vi rtue or. any otlier law~,

J. Section ! I of the principal Act shall be amended by the

addi tion, at the cnd thereof. of the following proviso

"Provided that the provisions of section 22 of the Land
