consent of the House of R~presentati\'es. in This present Parliament

assembled . and by the authority of the same. as follows:-

This Act may be cited as Ihe Second (1988) Appropriation Act,

1. 1988.

A sum not exceeding nin e million. four hundred and fony

thousand. two hundred and ninct y-sjlf Maltese liti to mee t

expenditure in respect of financial year 1988 Ollderlllc Votesspcciflcd in

the First Schedule 10 this Act shall be and the same is hereby ch;uged

upon the Consolidated Fund.

J. A further sum not exceeding one hundred and thirteen

thousand. seve n hundred and forty-three Maltese Uri. to meet

expenditure in respect of the financial year 1988 under the Votes

specified in the Secund Schedule to this Act shall be and the same is

hereby charged upon the Consolidated Fund. provided that such sum

shall be transferred to the Contingencies Fund in replacement of

withdrawals made out of this fund to coveT the various services detailed

i .. regard to such Votes in the Supplementary Estimate of Expenditure

for the financial year 1988.
