AN ACT furrher IQ (Jmflld Ihe G(wermnem LVI/fries Act, J98J.

BE IT ENAcrED by the President. by and wi th the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled. and by the authority of the same. as follows:-

I. (I) This Act may be cited as the Government Lotteries Shon title

(Amendment) Act , 1988, and shaH be read and construed as one with and comm·

(2) The provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have oome

The tickets of the Grand wttery shall have an to ,he

the ticket. The staker may write down his name and address

o n the detachable portion which may be delivered by h ~l]d or

by post to the Director before the relative Grand Lollery

Provided th~t no li~bi1ity shall allach tothe Director

in the event thal for any reason whatsoever the detachahle

portion is not rece ived by him or can not for any reason be

traced. " .

sufficient proof to identify him as the rightful owner of a winning

Grand wttery ticket. the Director may. in his absolute discretion .

presented;

Provided further tha t the Director shall summaril y dismiss a

claim if the de tachable portion of the winJling ticket is Jlot in his
