AN ACT further 10 amend the KursaalOrdinance. 1962.

BE IT ENACTED by the PresideD!. by and with the ad~ice and

consent of the House of Representatives. in this prese11l Parliamc11I

assembled. and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

I. This Act may be cited as the Kursaal (Amendment) Act, 1988, Short title.

and shall be rcad and C()nstrucd as one with the Knrsaa\ Ord inance. 1962. Ord. XVI of

hereinafter referred to as "the principal iaw".

Section 4 of the principal law shall be amended as follows

(a) in paragraph (aJ thereof lor the words "persons over the principal la,...

age 01 eighteen ycars and who are not citizens of Malta" there shall

be substituted the words "citizens 0/ Malta who are over the age of

twenty-five years subject to such limitations as may be prescribed

by the Minis ter. and by persons over the a8e of eighteen yeal'll who

are not citizens of Malta"; and

(b) in paragraph (b) thereof for the words "person over the

age of eighteen years and who is not a citi1.en of Malta" there shall

or

be substituted the words "citizens of Malta who are over the age

twenty·five years subject \0 such limitations as may be prescribed

by the Minister, and persons over the age of eighleen years who

are not citizens of Malta".

For section 4A 01 the principal law. there shaH be substituted SubotiIUtion of
