BE IT ENACTE D by !he President. by and with the Ildvioe and

or the Hou se of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

I. (I) This Act may be cited as the Fees (Amendment) Act,

1986, and shall be read and COlllltrued as ODe with the Fees Ordillllnce.

hereinafter referred 10 as " the principal law",

(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into (0fI:() OD the

1st January, 1986.

iżjed 'il quddiem imsejjaħ "il-liġi prinċipali".

10 ~tion 5 of the principal law for the words "by order"

there shall be substituted the words "by regulations", and for the words

"stamps by the offiur receiving such payment. in accordance with the

laws in force for the collection of stamp duty" there shall be S\Ibstituted

the words "postage stamps in such manner as may be provided in such

regulations.".
