AN ACT fUrlhu 10 (lm,,"d III ~ Old A8~ P~n!Jiolls Act. 1948.

BB IT ENACfED by the President. by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives. in this present Parliament

u5Sembled , and by the authority of the same. as tollows: -

I. (!) Thi s ACI may be cited as the Old Age Pensions (Amend-

menO (Nn. 2) Act. 1986. and shall be read and COIl5trued IS ODe with the

O ld Age Pension$ Act. 1948. hereinafter referred to as "the principal

Act".

Section 2 of the principal Act shall be lUllended as follOW$

(ii) immediately after item (b) of the aforesaid defi nition there

shall be insened the followng

"(c) permanent lotal paralysis or permaoent total severe

malfunction 01" permanent total disease, whether through am-

putation 01" otherwise. of both upper or lower limbs; oc".

Section 5 of tM principal Act shall be amended as follOW$!

deleted; and

(ii) in paragraph (c) of suhse<:tion (2) thereof. the words "aod .
