AN ACT further to amend, the Department of Health (Constitution)

Ordinance, Cap. 148.

BE IT ENACTED by the President, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:―

This Act may be cited as the Department of Health (Constitu-

tion) (Amendment) Act, 1986, and shall be read and construed as one

with the Department of Health (Constitution) Ordinance, hereinafter

referred to as “the principal law”.

In subsection (4) of section 39 of the principal law, for the

words “before the lapse of one year.” there shall be substituted the words

“before the lapse of four years.”.
