AN ACT f"rther 10 amend the Traffic R egula/loo Ordinance, Cap. 105.

BE IT ENAcrED by the Pte,ideot, by and with the advice and

consent of the House of Representatives, in this present Parliament

assembled. and by the authority of the same. a~ follows:-

t . This Act may be cited as the Traffic Regulation (Amendment!

Act . 1982. and sha lt Ix read and construed as one with Ihe Traffic

Regu lation Ord inance. hereina fter referred 10 as "Ihe principal law",

In section 2 of the principal law for the words "the Prime

Minisler and includes any other M inister entrusted witll responsibility

in connection with Ibis Ord inance" there shall be substituted the words

"the Minister responilihle (or the Poli~",

Immed iately after paragraph (h) of sub:scction (2) of section 16

of the principal law there sha ll be added the (ollowing new paragraphs

"(i) for the removal. storage and disposal of mOlor vehicles.

seacra(t or any other thing obstructing or otherwise causing any

nuisan~ or inconvenien~ in any strttt, road. quay. wharf or

other publ ic pla~;

(j) for e:l:empting the Commissioner of Police from any

liability for damages arising in connection with the removal.

storage and disposal of motor vehicles, seacraft or any other thing

in acoordancc with regulatiolU made under this section

(k) for prescribing the fees payable for the removal, storage

and disposal of any motor veh icle. seacraft or any other thing in

aoxoroance with regulations made under this ~ioo:'.
