PievienoÅ¡anÄs paziÅojumi stÄjas spÄkÄ to pÄdÄjÄ paraksta datumÄ, un Ärlietu ministrija par to paziÅo oficiÄlajÄ izdevumÄ "Latvijas VÄstnesis". LÄ«dz ar likumu izsludinÄmi PievienoÅ¡anÄs paziÅojumi angļu valodÄ un to tulkojumi latvieÅ¡u valodÄ. Likums stÄjas spÄkÄ nÄkamajÄ dienÄ pÄc tÄ izsludinÄÅ¡anas. ELECTS to participate as of 1 January 2018 in the Memorandum of Understanding among the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Estonia, the Federal Ministry of Defence of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Ministry of Defence of the Italian Republic, the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland concerning the Establishment, Administration and Operation of the NATO StratCom COE, which came into effect on 1 July 2014 (NATO StratCom COE Operational MOU). DECIDES to contribute its share to the annual budget starting with fiscal year 2018. NOTING THAT without prejudice to rights and obligations under the North Atlantic Treaty, Agreement among the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty regarding the Status of their Forces (NATO SOFA) and the Protocol on the Status of International Military Headquarters set up pursuant to the North Atlantic Treaty (Paris Protocol), the Department of National Defence of Canada understands that neither the NATO StratCom COE Operational MOU, nor Department of National Defence of Canada joining thereto, creates any rights or obligations under international law, that neither is eligible for registration under Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations, nor is either a treaty within the meaning of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties. The Department of National Defence of Canada nevertheless intends to respect the provisions of the NATO StratCom COE Operational MOU and insists that they be respected by all Participants. NOTING THAT without prejudice to rights and obligations under the North Atlantic Treaty, the Agreement among the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty regarding the Status of their Forces (NATO SOFA), and the Protocol on the Status of International Military Headquarters set up pursuant to the North Atlantic Treaty (Paris Protocol), the Department of National Defence of Canada understands that neither the NATO Stratcom COE Functional MOU, nor Department`s of National Defence of Canada joining thereto, creates any rights or obligations under international law, that neither is eligible for registration under Article 102 of the Charter of the United Nations, nor is either a treaty within the meaning of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties.
