Accord instituant la Fondation internationale UE-ALC, signé à Saint-Domingue, le 25 octobre 2016 -
Entrée en vigueur, liste des États liés et déclarations.
Les conditions requises pour l’entrée en vigueur de l’accord désigné ci-dessus, approuvé par loi du 13 mars
2018 (Journal officiel du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, Mémorial A, n° 186 du 14 mars 2018), ayant été
remplies le 17 avril 2019, ledit acte entrera en vigueur à l’égard des États contractants le 17 mai 2019,
conformément à l’article 25, paragraphe 1, du présent accord.

The Federal Republic of Germany would like to draw attention to the fact that no taxation privileges above
and beyond those set out in Article 20(5) and (6) of the Agreement establishing the EU-LAC International
Foundation can be granted in the Headquarters Agreement to be concluded pursuant to Article 20(2) of the
Agreement.

conformément à l’article 20, paragraphe 2, de l’accord ne saurait prévoir aucun privilège fiscal autre que les
avantages fixés à l’article 20, paragraphes 5 et 6, de l’accord instituant la Fondation internationale UE-ALC.

With reference to Article 20 (Privileges and Immunities) (5) and (6), the Kingdom of Belgium declares that, in
the event that the EU-LAC International Foundation opens an office in Belgium, it will not grant an exemption
from taxes on the salaries and emoluments of staff paid by the Foundation.

Se référant à l’article 20 (Privilèges et immunités), par. 5 et 6, le Royaume de Belgique déclare que, en cas
d’ouverture d’un Bureau de la Fondation UE-LAC en Belgique, il n’accordera pas une exemption de taxes
sur les salaires et émoluments du personnel payés par la Fondation.

In accordance with Article 21 of the Agreement 'Languages of the Foundation', France recalls that French
is one of the working languages used in the framework of the strategic partnership between Latin America
and the Caribbean and the European Union and that it will use this language in the context of the work and
activities of the EU-LAC International Foundation.

Conformément à l’article 21 de l’accord, « Langues de la Fondation » la France rappelle que le français
constitue une des langues de travail employées dans le cadre du partenariat stratégique entre l’Amérique
latine et les Caraïbes et l’Union européenne et qu’elle fera usage de cette langue dans le cadre des travaux
et activités de la fondation internationale UE-ALC.
