1. A payment or payments made to the person under the Residential Institutions Redress Acts 2002 to 2011.

2. A payment or payments made to the person under the terms of the Stardust

ex gratia

Redress Scheme 2024 and otherwise referred to as the Stardust Redress Scheme.

These Regulations prescribe

ex gratia

payments for the purposes of paragraph (f) of the definition of “relevant payment” in paragraph 1 of Part 3 of Schedule 1 of the

Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act 2009

(No. 15 of 2009).

3. In these Regulations “the

Act of 2009” means the Nursing Homes Support Scheme Act 2009

(No. 15 of 2009).

4. The classes of

ex gratia

payment or payments specified in the Schedule to these Regulations are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (f) of the definition of “relevant payment” in paragraph 1 of Part 3 of Schedule 1 of the Act of 2009.
