S.I. No. 152/2025 - Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023 (Section 6) (Commencement) Order 2025

1. This Order may be cited as the Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023 (Section 6) (Commencement) Order 2025.

2. The 6th day of May 2025 is appointed as the day on which

section 6

of the

Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023

(No. 14 of 2023) shall come into operation.

This Order appoints the 6

May 2025 as the day on which

section 6

of the

Regulated Professions (Health and Social Care) (Amendment) Act 2023

(No. 14 of 2023) comes into operation.

This section amends the

Medical Practitioners Act 2007

and relates to immunity from prosecution for certain cohorts of persons performing functions under the Act.
