S.I. No. 80/2024 - Irish Aviation Authority (Fees) Order 2015 (Revocation) Order 2024

1. This order may be cited as the Irish Aviation Authority (Fees) Order 2015 (Revocation) Order 2024.

2. The Irish Aviation Authority (Fees) Order 2015, (

S.I. No. 523 of 2015

) is hereby amended by the insertion after the first sentence in paragraph 2 of the following sentence, “This Order shall cease to have effect after the first day of January 2024.”

3. The Irish Aviation Authority (Fees) Order 2015, (

S.I. No. 523 of 2015

) is hereby revoked.

This Order firstly amends the IAA (Fees) Order 2015, inserting an expiry date after which the fees set out therein shall not be applied. Secondly, the Order then revokes the 2015 Order. Pursuant to s.44 of the Irish Aviation Authority Act,1993, as amended by section 71 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 2022, the Irish Aviation Authority may charge such amounts as it considers appropriate as provided for in the Act.
