S.I. No. 460/2023 - Electoral Act 1992 (Designated Registration Authority) Regulations 2023

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Electoral Act 1992 (Designated Registration Authority) Regulations 2023.

2. In these Regulations, the “Electoral Act 1992” means the Electoral Act 1992 as amended by the

Electoral Reform Act 2022

.

3. Dublin City Council is prescribed as the Designated Registration Authority for the purposes of section 13B(1) of the Electoral Act 1992.

These Regulations prescribe Dublin city Council as the Designated Registration Authority for the purpose of establishing, managing and maintaining a shared database to facilitate registration authorities in the efficient performance of their functions in relation to the electoral register and related data sharing arrangements.
