S.I. No. 52/2022 - European Union (Licensing of Drivers) (Amendment) Regulations 2022

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Licensing of Drivers) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations come into operation on the 21

st

day of February 2022.

2. Regulation 10 of the Road Traffic (Licensing of Drivers) Regulations 2006 (

S.I. No. 537 of 2006

) is amended by the deletion of paragraph (2) (inserted by the European Union (Licensing of Drivers) (Validity of Licences) Regulations 2015 (

S.I. No. 176 of 2015

) and amended by the Road Traffic (Licensing of Drivers) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 (

S.I. No. 242 of 2015

)).

These Regulations delete paragraph (2) of Regulation 10 of the Road Traffic (Licensing of Drivers) Regulations 2006 (

). An amended Regulation 10(2) is inserted by the Road Traffic (Licensing of Driver) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 (

S.I. No. 53 of 2022

).
