S.I. No. 33/2022 - European Union (Cereal Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2022

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Cereal Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

2. The European Union (Cereal Seed) Regulations 2013 (

S.I. No. 217 of 2013

) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting for the definition of “Directive” (as amended by the European Union (Cereal Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 (

)) the following

These Regulations give effect to the provisions of Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2021/2171 which corrects an error made in Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2021/415. This correction restores the species

avena nuda

to the schedule of species contained in Annex III of Directive 66/402/EEC on the marketing of Cereal Seed.
