S.I. No. 154/2022 - Health Identifiers Act 2014 (Commencement) Order 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Health Identifiers Act 2014 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 31st day of March 2022 is appointed as the day on which subsections (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) and (7) of

section 11

of the

Health Identifiers Act 2014

(No. 15 of 2014) shall come into operation.

This Order brings those subsections of section 11 of the Health Identifiers Act (No. 15 of 2014) not already in force into operation. This will support the greater use of the Individual Health Identifier in the health system by those persons permitted by the Act to use it.
