S.I. No. 149/2022 - Social Welfare Act 2021 (Section 14) (Commencement) Order 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act 2021 (Section 14) (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 7th day of April 2022 is appointed as the day on which

section 14

of the

Social Welfare Act 2021

(No. 44 of 2021) shall come into operation.

This Order provides for the commencement of

Section 14

of the

Social Welfare Act 2021

from 7 April 2022.

Section 14 provides for a €10 increase in the weekly income thresholds of working family payment for all qualifying families.
