S.I. No. 59/2020 - European Communities (Marketing of Vegetable Propagating and Plant Material, other than Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2020

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Vegetable Propagating and Plant Material, other than Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2020.

2. The European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (

S.I. No. 152 of 2014

) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting for the definition of “Directive”, the following –

“‘Directive’ means Council Directive No. 2008/72/EC of 15

These Regulations give effect to the provisions of Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2019/990 as they apply to Council Directive 2008/72/EC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed by updating the listing of scientific name of the species contained in Annex I and Annex II.
