S.I. No. 351/2020 - Transport, Tourism and Sport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Transport, Tourism and Sport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 17 September 2020.

2. The name of the Department of State, the present name of which is, in the Irish language, an Roinn Iompair, Turasóireachta agus Spóirt and, in the English language, the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, is altered, in the Irish language, to that of an Roinn Iompair and, in the English language, to that of the Department of Transport.

3. The title of the Minister having charge of the Department of State, whose present title is, in the Irish language, an tAire Iompair, Turasóireachta agus Spóirt and, in the English language, the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, is altered, in the Irish language, to that of an tAire Iompair and, in the English language, to that of the Minister for Transport.

4. In any enactment or any instrument made under an enactment -

(

a

) references to the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport shall be construed as references to the Department of Transport;

(

b

) references to the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport shall be construed as references to the Minister for Transport.
