1. This Order may be cited as the Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Law Provisions Act 2019 (Commencement) Order 2019.
2. The 2
nd
day of December 2019 is appointed as the day on which the
Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Law Provisions Act 2019
(No. 19 of 2019), other than sections 2(1), 9 and 21, shall come into operation.

This Order appoints 2 December 2019 as the day on which the
Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Law Provisions Act 2019
comes into operation, in its entirety, other than sections 2(1), 9 and 21. As provided for in Section 1(7) of that Act, these sections will automatically come into operation on the date that is 6 months from the passing of the Act, which was signed by the President on 26th June 2019.
