S.I. No. 507/2019 - Road Traffic Act 2010 (Part 3) (Fixed Charge Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2019

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2010 (Part 3) (Fixed Charge Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2019.

2. These Regulations come into operation on 1 November 2019.

3. The

Road Traffic Act 2010

(Part 3) (Fixed Charge Offences) Regulations 2017 (

S.I. No. 244 of 2017

) are amended by the insertion of the following Part after Part 7 of Schedule 3

“Part 8

€60 fixed charge

An offence under section 139(1)(c) of the

Finance Act 1992

(No. 9 of 1992) consisting of a contravention of section 131(6) of that Act referred to in the Table below.

Being in possession or charge of a vehicle which does not display the identification mark assigned to the vehicle

Being in possession or charge of a vehicle which displays an identification mark assigned to a different vehicle or which displays a mark which purports to be, but is not, an identification mark assigned to the vehicle

”.
