1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Restrictive Measures concerning the Republic of Maldives) (Revocation) Regulations 2019.

2. The following are revoked

(a) European Union (Restrictive Measures concerning the Maldives) Regulations 2018 (

S.I. No. 337 of 2018

).

These Regulations give effect to Council Regulation (EU) No. 2019/985 of 17 June 2019, repealing Regulation (EU) No. 2018/1001 concerning certain restrictive measures in respect of the Republic of Maldives, by revoking the European Union (Restrictive Measures concerning the Maldives) Regulations 2018 (

S.I. No. 337 of 2018

).
