S.I. No. 181/2019 - Safety, Health And Welfare At Work Act 2005 (Agreement To Recognise) Order 2019

1. This Order may be cited as the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (Agreement to Recognise) Order 2019.

2. The Minister confers on the Authority the function to enter into agreements, with persons or bodies of persons involved in safety, health and welfare at work in and outside the State, in relation to the recognition of matters related to the functions of the Authority referred to in

section 34

of the

Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005

(No. 10 of 2005), as amended from time to time.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of this Order (as provided for in section 35(1) of the

Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005

(No. 10 of 2005)) is to confer on the Health and Safety Authority the function to enter into agreements with persons or bodies involved in safety, health and welfare at work in regard to the recognition of matters related to the functions of the Health and Safety Authority.

), with the consent of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform and after consultation with the Health and Safety Authority, hereby order as follows
