EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)
These Regulations set the fees required to be paid for—
• obtaining copies or extracts of entries in the Adopted Children Register, and
• searching the index of the Adopted Children Register.
These Regulations may be cited as the Adoption Act 2010 (Section 85) (Fees) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 18 January 2018.
6. (1) The prescribed fee payable in accordance with sections 85(2)(
b
) and 85(3)(
b
) of the Principal Act for each certified copy or certified extract of an entry in the Adopted Children Register is the amount set out in column (2) of the Schedule, opposite reference 4 in column (1).
(2) The prescribed fee payable in accordance with sections 85(2)(
b
) and 85(3)(
b
) of the Principal Act for each uncertified copy of an entry in the Adopted Children Register is the amount set out in column (2) of the Schedule, opposite reference 5 in column (1).
7. The Adoption Act 2010 (Section 85) (Fees) Regulations 2017 (
S.I. No. 536 of 2017
) are revoked.

), hereby make the following Regulations
