S.I. No. 353/2018 - Insurance (Amendment) Act 2018 (Commencement) (Part 4) Order 2018

1. This Order may be cited as the Insurance (Amendment) Act 2018 (Commencement) (Part 4) Order 2018.

2. The 1st day of December 2018 is appointed as the day on which Part 4 of the

Insurance (Amendment) Act 2018

(No. 21 of 2018) comes into operation.

This Order appoints 1 December 2018 as the date on which Part 4 of the

Insurance (Amendment) Act 2018

comes into operation.

Part 4 of the

Insurance (Amendment) Act 2018

provides for the establishment and operation of the Motor Insurers Insolvency Compensation Fund (MIIC Fund).
