S.I. No. 302/2018 - Statistics (Environmental Expenditure Survey) Order 2018

1. Information regarding the following, as it relates to environmental protection expenditure incurred by the person or undertaking concerned during the year to which the information relates

(

a

) capital expenditure on the purchase of—

(i) pollution treatment equipment, and

(ii) pollution prevention technology;

(

b

) operating expenditure on—

(i) the purchase of environmental services,

(ii) environmental protection equipment, and

(iii) environmental protection staff.

2. Information regarding the following, as it relates to resource management expenditure incurred by the person or undertaking concerned during the year to which the information relates

(

a

) capital expenditure on the purchase of equipment for the production of resource management products;

(

b

) operating expenditure on—

(i) the purchase of resource management products,

(ii) resource management equipment, and

(iii) resource management staff.

3. Information on the time taken by the person or undertaking concerned to complete the questionnaire, form or other record prepared by the Director General for the collection of the information referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2.

4. A requirement on persons or undertakings referred to in Article 3 to provide, once only and for the purposes of the survey, information in relation to each year in the period from 2017 to 2021, the general nature of which is specified in the Schedule, is prescribed for the purposes of

section 25

of the

Statistics Act 1993

(No. 21 of 1993).
