S.I. No. 625/2017 - District Court Districts and Areas (Amendment) and Variation of Days and Hours (Ennis, Meath, Portlaoise and Tullamore) Order 2017

1. (

a

) This Order may be cited as the District Court Districts and Areas (Amendment) and Variation of Days and Hours (Ennis, Meath, Portlaoise and Tullamore) Order 2017.

(

b

) This Order shall come into operation on 1st January, 2018.

2. The First Schedule to the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

S.I. No. 5 of 1961

), is hereby amended by—

(

a

) the substitution at reference number 16 for the matter in column (4) of the following

“Ennis — First, Second, Third and Fourth Wednesday in each month. First and Third Thursday in each month. Fourth Tuesday in each month. First, Third and Fourth Friday in each month. Second Tuesday in January, March, May, July, October and December. Second Thursday in February, April, June, October and December. Second Friday in January, March, May, July, October and December. All sittings at 10.00 a.m.”, and

) the substitution at reference number 188 for the matter in column (4) of the following

“Navan — First, Second, Third and Fourth Wednesday in each month. Second, Third and Fourth Friday in each month. All sittings at 10.00 a.m.”, and

) the substitution at reference number 195 for the matter in column (4) of the following

3. The Second Schedule to the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

), is hereby amended by—

4. Business transacted in the District Court that is initiated and not completed before commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated.
