1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1997 (Prescribed Organisations for the Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board) Regulations 2017.
2. The organisations specified in the Schedule to these Regulations are prescribed for the purposes of
section 23
(3) of the
Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997
(No. 23 of 1997).
3. The Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1997 (Prescribed Organisations for the Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board) Regulations 2011 (
S.I. No. 621 of 2011
) is revoked.

These Regulations prescribe certain organisations for the purpose of enabling them to nominate persons from whom the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine may appoint 6 ordinary members of the Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board under
Section 23
of the
Fisheries (Amendment) Act 1997
.

)), hereby make the following regulations
