S.I. No. 556/2017 - Pyrite Resolution (standard for testing) Regulations 2017

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pyrite Resolution (standard for testing) Regulations 2017.

Commencement

2. These Regulations come into operation on 15 December 2017.

Interpretation Generally

3. In these Regulations

“Act” means the

Pyrite Resolution Act 2013

(No. 51 of 2013).

Standard for Testing

4. For the purpose of giving further effect pursuant to section 14(9) (

a

) of the Act, the “standard for testing” for the purpose of the Act shall be Irish Standard 398-1:2017 Reactive pyrite in sub-floor hardcore material — Part 1: Testing and categorisation protocol, as published by the National Standards Authority of Ireland on 4 August 2017.

These Regulations provide that pursuant to

section 14

Pyrite Resolution Act 2013

, the “standard for testing” for the purpose of the Act shall be Irish Standard 398-1:2017 Reactive pyrite in sub-floor hardcore material — Part 1: Testing and categorisation protocol, as published by the National Standards Authority of Ireland on 4 August 2017.

The operative date of these Regulations is 15 December 2017.
