1. This Order may be cited as the Health Act 2007 (Commencement) Order 2017.
2. The 2nd day of October 2017 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the
Health Act 2007
(No. 23 of 2007) come into operation
(
a
) paragraphs (
b
) and (
c
) of section 41(1) insofar only as the functions under those paragraphs are not already performable in relation to a designated centre to which paragraph (
a
) (ii), or (iii) or paragraph (
c
) of the definition of designated centre (amended by section 97 of, and Item I of Part 20 of Schedule 2 to, the
Child and Family Agency Act 2013
(No. 40 of 2013)) in section 2(1) applies;
(
b
) Parts 8 and 9 insofar only as they are not already in operation in relation to a designated centre to which paragraph (
a
) (ii), or (iii) or paragraph (
c
) of the definition of designated centre in section 2(1) applies.
