S.I. No. 428/2017 - Health Act 2007 (Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People) (Amendment) Regulations 2017.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Act 2007 (Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and shall come into operation on the 2nd day of October 2017.

2. Regulation 2 of the Health Act 2007 (Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People) Regulations 2013 (

S.I. No. 415 of 2013

) is amended by the substitution of the following definition for the definition of “designated centre”

“ ‘designated centre’ means a designated centre for older people to which paragraph (

a

)(iii) or paragraph (

c

) of the definition of ‘designated centre’ (amended by section 97 of, and Item I of Part 20 of Schedule 2 to, the

Child and Family Agency Act 2013

(No. 40 of 2013)) in section 2 of the Act applies;”.
