1. This Order may be cited as the Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Act 2012 (Section 43) (Commencement) Order 2017.

2. The 1st day of September 2017 is appointed as the day on which

section 43

of the

Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Act 2012

(No. 35 of 2012) comes into operation.

This Order provides for the commencement of

Section 43

of the

Residential Institutions Statutory Fund Act 2012

.

Section 43

provides for the setting up of a special account in the name of the Minister for Health into which any moneys accepted by the Minister for Education and Skills under section 42(1) of the Act shall be placed. The moneys in the special account shall be used for specified purposes relating to the new national paediatric hospital.
