1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations 2017.

2. The European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) Regulations 2001 (

S.I. No. 306 of 2001

) are amended by substituting in Regulation 2(1) for the definition of “Directive” (as amended by the European Communities (Vegetable Seeds) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 (

S.I. No 129 of 2014

)) the following-

“ ‘Directive’ means Council Directive 2002/55/EC of 13 June 2002
