1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Vehicle and Driver File (Access) (Amendment) Regulations 2017.

2. The Schedule to the National Vehicle and Driver File (Access) (No. 2) Regulations 2015 (

S.I. No. 287 of 2015

) is amended—

) by the substitution of the following for reference number 6

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the National Vehicle and Driver File (Access) (No. 2) Regulations 2015 (

S.I. No. 287 of 2015

) to prescribe the persons or categories of person who may have access to the National Vehicle and Driver File records established under

section 60

of the

Finance Act, 1993

and the purpose for such access.
