S.I. No. 110/2017 - Children (Amendment) Act 2015 (Section 3(11)) Order 2017.

1. This Order may be cited as the Children (Amendment) Act 2015 (Section 3(11)) Order 2017.

2. This Order shall come into operation on 31 March 2017.

3. In this Order—

“children detention school” means the children detention school formed by the Children Act 2001 (Amalgamation of Children Detention Schools) Order 2016 (

S.I. No. 273 of 2016

) and known as Oberstown Children Detention Campus;

“remand centre” means the children detention school designated as a remand centre by the Children Act 2001 (Designation of Remand Centre) Order 2016 (

S.I. No. 274 of 2016

).

4. The remand centre is specified for the purposes of subsections (4) and (5) of

section 3

of the

Children (Amendment) Act 2015

(No. 30 of 2015).

5. The children detention school is specified for the purposes of subsections (7), (8) and (9) of

section 3

of the

Children (Amendment) Act 2015

.
