S.I. No. 483/2016 - European Communities (Direct support schemes) Offences and Control (Amendment) Regulations 2016.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Direct support schemes) Offences and Control (Amendment) Regulations 2016.

2. The European Communities (Direct support schemes) Offences and Control Regulations 2016 (

S.I. No. 169 of 2016

) are amended-

(

a

) by substituting in Regulation 2 for the definition of “Authorised Officer” the following—

“’authorised officer’ means-

(

a

) a person appointed under Regulation 5, and

(

b

) a person who, immediately before the making of these Regulations was an authorised officer (within the meaning of the European Communities (Direct support schemes) Offences and Control Regulations 2012 (

S.I. No. 115 of 2012

));”, and

(

b

) by inserting the following after Regulation 9-

“10.(1) The European Communities (Direct support schemes) Offences and Control Regulations 2012 (

S.I. No. 115 of 2012

) are revoked.

(2) An authorisation or notice granted or issued under the Regulations referred to in paragraph 1 that is in force immediately before the revocation, continues in force and may be dealt with as if granted or issued under these Regulations.”.
