S.I. No. 436/2016 - Criminal Justice Act 1994 (Section 44) Regulations 2016.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 1994 (Section 44) Regulations 2016.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 3rd day of August, 2016.

3. The sum of €1,000 is hereby prescribed as the prescribed sum for the purposes of

section 38

of the

Criminal Justice Act 1994

.

4. The Criminal Justice Act, 1994 (Section 44) Regulations, 1996 (S.I. 167 of 1996) are hereby revoked.

)), hereby make the following Regulations with respect to which, pursuant to that section, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House
