Statutory Text (6 Articles)
1. In the case of the owner of a vehicle other than one to which paragraph 3 applies—
(
a
) subject to subparagraph (
b
), information regarding the following, as it relates to the vehicle concerned and specifying the relevant period concerned
(i) age;
(ii) latest change of ownership;
(iii) business of the owner;
(iv) where known, business of the user;
(v) carrying capacity;
(vi) capacity of any trailer that has been attached to the vehicle;
(vii) weight of any trailer that has been attached to the vehicle;
(viii) type of body of the vehicle;
(ix) use to which the vehicle was put;
(x) use to which the vehicle is normally put;
(xi) position on the vehicle of the axles;
(xii) odometer reading in miles or kilometres of vehicle at the beginning and end of the relevant period concerned, or
(
b
) where the vehicle concerned is used by a person other than its owner and the owner by virtue of that fact is unable to provide all of the information specified in subparagraph (
a
), the name and contact details of the user of the vehicle concerned and the information specified in subparagraphs (
a
)(i) to (iii).
2. In the case of the user of a vehicle other than one to which paragraph 3 applies, the information specified in paragraphs 1(
a
)(iv) to (xii), as it relates to the vehicle concerned and specifying the relevant period concerned.
3. In the case of the owner of a vehicle that has been scrapped, confirmation of that fact.
4. Information on the time taken by the person concerned to complete the questionnaire, form or other record prepared by the Director General for the collection of the information referred to in paragraphs 1 to 3.
