S.I. No. 612/2015 - Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2015.

1. This Order may be cited as the Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2015.

2. The 23rd day of December 2015 is appointed as the day on which the

Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015

(No. 49 of 2015), other than—

(

a

) sections 10 to 13,

(

b

) section 17, and

(

c

) sections 39 to 42,

shall come into operation.

This Order brings into operation, with effect from 23 January 2015, the provisions of the

Garda Síochána (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015

other than sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 39, 40 41 and 42.
