S.I. No. 291/2015 - European Union (Identification of Equidae) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2015.

1. These Regulations may be cited as European Union (Identification of Equidae) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2015.

2. The European Union (Identification of Equidae) Regulations 2014 (

S.I. No. 207 of 2014

) are amended by inserting after Regulation 25(11) the following—

“(11A) Where an authorised officer seizes and detains an equine animal under this Regulation, the officer may also seize and detain any unweaned offspring of the equine animal.”.
