S.I. No. 245/2015 - Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) (No. 2) Regulations 2015.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing Assistance Payment (Section 50) (No. 2) Regulations 2015.

2. Part 4 of the

Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014

(No. 21 of 2014) shall be applied in respect of all classes of qualified households—

(

a

) with effect from 15 June 2015, by Offaly County Council; and

(

b

) with effect from 29 June 2015, by Carlow County Council, Clare County Council, Cork City Council and Tipperary County Council.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

For the purpose of facilitating the phased introduction of the new Housing Assistance Payment scheme under the

Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2014

, these Regulations provide that Part 4 of the Act will be applied in respect of all classes of qualified household by—

(

a

) Offaly County Council, from 15 June 2015; and

(

b

) Carlow County Council, Clare County Council, Cork City Council and Tipperary County Council, from 29 June 2015.
