S.I. No. 241/2015 - Road Traffic (Speed Limit - Traffic Signs) (Dimensions) Regulations 2015.

1. The dimensions shown for the diameter of traffic sign RUS 064 are in millimetres. The standard dimension for the diameter of this sign is shown and the range of alternative dimensions which may be used are shown in brackets.

2. Where it is desired to repeat the speed limit sign along the length of a road, part carriageway or lane to which the speed limit applies, the diameter of the sign may be reduced to 450mm or 300mm.

3. A speed limit sign may be mounted on its own or on a backing board or as part of a larger traffic sign or in combination with other regulatory, warning or information traffic signs.”.
