1. This Order may be cited as the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Act 2014 (Establishment Day) Order 2014.
2. The 1st day of November 2014 is appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the
Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Act 2014
(No. 25 of 2014).

This Order brings the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission into being and dissolves the Equality Authority and Human Rights Commission, which are being merged into the new Body.
