1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) (Directive 2005/36/EC) (Amendment) Regulations 2014.
2. The Recognition of Professional Qualifications (Directive 2005/36/EC) Regulations 2008 (
S.I. No. 139 of 2008
) are amended—
(
a
) in Regulation 2—
(i) by substituting the following for the definition of “the Directive” in paragraph (1)
“ ‘Directive’ means Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005
